Zygo Team is a group of three implant surgeons in Florianópolis, Brazil. Start with a case review and understand the proposed treatment, what the trip involves and the next steps, before anything is booked.

These are some of the most common reasons patients reach out. If none of them quite match yours, write to us anyway: we can still take a look.
You have lost some or all of your teeth in one or both jaws and want to understand what fixed-tooth options are realistic for your case.
You wear a removable denture that is loose, uncomfortable, or affects how you eat and speak, and you want to explore implant-supported alternatives.
A dentist has told you that you don't have enough bone for implants. Depending on the case, techniques such as zygomatic implants can sometimes still make treatment possible.
The three Zygo Team surgeons review the cases that reach us through this page. The people who evaluate and plan your treatment are the ones who operate, not a call center or a sales team.

Before deciding whether you feel comfortable placing your treatment in our hands, you're welcome to look into our clinical practice, our teaching activity and the conversations we host with other implant dentists.
No trip is booked until your case has been reviewed and the treatment confirmed to be appropriate for you.
Whatever you already have: a recent CT scan (CBCT), a panoramic X-ray, or simply photos and a description of your situation.
The surgeons review what you send and explain, in plain terms, what treatment is likely to involve and whether more information is needed.
Your trip is only planned once we agree the treatment is right for you. A full clinical exam still takes place in person before surgery: the remote review is a first opinion, not a final diagnosis.

Every case moves through the same five stages. The pace and length depend on yours.
You reach out and share a short description of your situation.
The team reviews what you send and explains, in plain terms, whether treatment looks appropriate and what it would likely involve.
Once we agree treatment is right for you, we prepare your personalized outline and plan your trip together.
A full clinical exam confirms the plan before anything is performed. Treatment is carried out by the team, with sedation available when indicated.
Before you leave, we review your recovery and agree how follow-up will be handled once you're home.
A typical schedule. The exact timing, and whether teeth can be delivered during the same visit, is confirmed for each case during the evaluation.

We meet you at Florianópolis airport and take you to your hotel.
Day 2

Airport, hotel and clinic: every transfer during your stay is arranged for you.
All meals throughout your stay are included.
Follow-up visits before you are cleared to fly, and a direct line to the team afterwards.
Your individual estimate breaks down the procedures and stages proposed for your case, so you know in advance what it covers.
As part of your treatment planning, we select an implant system with an established presence in your home country and check the availability of the relevant components. This helps support ongoing care with a suitably qualified local dentist after you return.
Local care depends on the dentist's assessment and familiarity with your specific implant and restoration system. Any local appointments and fees are arranged separately, unless otherwise agreed.
To support that follow-up, you'll receive documentation covering:
Choosing a country is only part of the decision. What matters most is choosing the right professionals to plan and perform your treatment.
Brazil has one of the world's largest dental communities and a long-standing tradition in advanced dentistry: implant dentistry, full-arch rehabilitation, oral surgery, dental education, research and digital dentistry. Full-arch implant rehabilitation is performed routinely in Brazilian implant centers, which is part of why treatment in Brazil has become a serious option for patients from many countries. Still, the country is the setting for your treatment, not the reason to choose it: the outcome depends on the professionals you choose.
For patients traveling from abroad, the process begins with a remote conversation and a careful review of the available records. Treatment decisions are confirmed in person in Florianópolis, with a plan built around your clinical needs, travel timing and long-term care. Care is available in English or Spanish. What you can expect is a combination of professional expertise, advanced implant dentistry, personalized treatment planning, a digital workflow and transparency about what your case involves.
Florianópolis is an island city in southern Brazil, reached directly through Florianópolis International Airport (FLN), combining beaches and coastal scenery with the restaurants and urban infrastructure of a mid-sized city: a practical, welcoming place to combine your treatment with a short stay.

Procedures are performed in a surgical-center setting, with basic life support equipment and monitoring throughout the surgery, all designed around your safety.

Yes. You can start with whatever you already have: recent photos, a panoramic X-ray, or simply a description of your situation. We will let you know if a CT scan (CBCT) is needed to complete your evaluation.
From your scans, photos and description, we can give you a preliminary opinion on whether treatment looks appropriate and what it would generally involve. This remote review is a first opinion, not a clinical diagnosis: a full clinical exam still happens in person, before any treatment is confirmed.
It depends on your case. Some are completed in a single visit; others call for a longer stay. The estimated length of stay is part of your personalized treatment outline, confirmed once your evaluation is complete.
Some cases are completed in a single visit. Others may call for a second trip, depending on the treatment plan. This is discussed individually as part of your evaluation, not assumed either way.
It depends on the clinical indication for your case. When clinically indicated, a fixed provisional restoration may be delivered on the day of surgery, and for suitable full-arch cases patients may leave surgery with fixed temporary teeth while healing takes place. Same-day temporary teeth are not appropriate for every case; the final decision follows clinical assessment and planning. The final prosthesis is planned after the appropriate healing and clinical follow-up period.
Yes. Full-arch rehabilitation, including All-on-4 and All-on-X approaches, is part of the team's daily work, and the more complex cases are handled by the three surgeons together. Whether it suits you, and with how many implants, depends on your bone, anatomy and bite, and is confirmed after an in-person exam.
In selected cases, yes. Zygomatic implants may be considered when the upper jaw has lost too much bone for conventional implants, but they are not the first choice and they need imaging and an in-person assessment before any decision.
Your estimate is prepared for your specific case and breaks down the clinical treatment, any prostheses and exams involved, and what travel support is included. Ask during your evaluation if anything isn't clear.
Before you leave, we review your recovery and what to expect. For routine questions afterward, the team stays reachable by WhatsApp or email; anything that needs closer follow-up is discussed based on your situation.
As part of planning your treatment, we select an implant system with an established presence in your home country and check the availability of the relevant components, and you receive documentation to support a local dentist in providing ongoing care. Whether a specific dentist can maintain your implant and restoration system depends on their own assessment and familiarity with it. This isn't something we can guarantee on their behalf.
Yes. Care is offered in English or Spanish, in addition to Portuguese.
Send a short message and we will get back to you with next steps, including which exams, if any, would help complete your evaluation.
