Privacy policy.
A plain explanation of which data we handle on this website, why, and how you can exercise your rights.
Last updated: October 9, 2026.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Zygo Team, a team of dental surgeons in Florianópolis, Brazil: Dr. Guilherme Corbetta (CRO/SC 11461), Dr. Guilherme Lobo Speck (CRO/SC 13913) and Dr. Rafael Zago Sá Fortes (CRO/SC 11651). We are the controllers of the personal data described here under Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018).
To ask questions or exercise your rights: zygoteambr@gmail.com or WhatsApp (48) 99932-3656.
2. What data we handle
- Website forms (patients and professionals): name, email, city/state or country, information about your situation (for example, tooth loss, use of a denture, whether you have a CT scan) and any message you write.
- Direct contact by WhatsApp or email: whatever you send us, including scans and photos if you choose to share them.
- Technical data (such as IP address and browser type), logged by the services that host and deliver the site.
Information about your oral condition is health data, which the LGPD treats as sensitive personal data. We therefore ask only for what is needed for a first evaluation.
3. How the forms work
When you press send, the website opens WhatsApp with your message already filled in. Nothing is sent until you tap “send” inside WhatsApp itself. The website does not store this information in a database or on a server of our own.
4. Why we use the data and the legal basis
- To reply to your message and make an initial evaluation of your case, or to tell you about courses, mentorships and services for professionals.
- To take preliminary steps at your request if you decide to become a patient or a student.
The legal bases are your consent, given when you send the form or message (LGPD, art. 7, I and art. 11, I), and preliminary steps taken at the data subject’s request (art. 7, V). We do not sell your data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
5. Who else may receive data
- WhatsApp (Meta): carries the messages you choose to send.
- Netlify: hosts the website and receives technical access data such as your IP address.
- Google Fonts: your browser downloads the site’s fonts directly from Google, which receives your IP address.
- YouTube: we show video thumbnails and, when you play a video, the player in enhanced privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
- External links (Instagram, Spotify, WhatsApp and others): once you click, each service’s own privacy rules apply.
Some of these services operate outside Brazil, which may involve international data transfer (LGPD, art. 33). Within our team, only the people who need it to assist you have access to your information.
6. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use first-party cookies, audience analytics or advertising tools. Third-party services such as YouTube may use cookies when you play a video or open an external link.
7. How long we keep data
We keep information for as long as needed to reply and evaluate your case. If you become a patient, clinical data becomes part of your medical record, which is kept for the periods required by law and by the Brazilian Federal Council of Dentistry. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep.
8. Your rights
Under the LGPD (art. 18) you may ask, at any time, for:
- confirmation that we handle your data, and access to it;
- correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
- anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data handled unlawfully;
- data portability;
- information about who we share your data with;
- withdrawal of consent, without affecting processing already carried out.
To do so, write to zygoteambr@gmail.com. You may also complain to Brazil’s National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) at gov.br/anpd. If you are outside Brazil, your data is handled in Brazil under the LGPD.
9. Security
The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS) and we limit internal access to your information. Please avoid putting unnecessary data in the forms, such as ID documents, passwords or card numbers. Scans and clinical photos should be sent only when we ask for them, through a messaging channel.
10. Children and teenagers
The website is meant for adults. Data about anyone under 18 should be sent only by a parent or legal guardian (LGPD, art. 14).
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this text when the website or the law changes. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
